Parents as Teachers (PAT)
The Parents as Teachers (PAT) program serves families with children parental through 5 years of age. The PAT program provides developmental parenting instruction and screening for early detection of developmental delays ensuring children are healthy, safe and ready to learn in their communities.
Overview
Parents as Teachers program is to support the child's development and overall well-being of the whole family.The parents as teachers program promotes early development, learning, and health of children by providing one-on-one support for parents from pregnancy through age 5. Parents receive individualized home visits, parenting resources, and the support of a parent educator.
