Pre-Employment Skills Training

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) are designed to give students opportunities through early career exploration and occupational exposure to make informed decisions that will maximize their ability to enter competitive integrated employment. Instructional Pre-ETS are provided to students with disabilities as part of their transition from high school to post-secondary education and/or employment. 

There are six (6) required Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS):

  • Job Exploration Counseling
  • Work Based Learning
  • Counseling on Post-Secondary Opportunities
  • Workplace Readiness Training
  • Instruction in Self-Advocacy
