Inclusive Child Development Center

The Easterseals Child Development Center provides families with young children a quality early learning environment where children with disabilities and their provides quality care with developmental appropriate learning activities from caring professional staff.

Overview

Meeting the Rio Grande Valley's growing need for high-quality child care for young children and their working parents, Easterseals offers a space where children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, with and without disabilities, learn, play, and grow side-by-side, fostering a deep sense of empathy, acceptance, and friendship. Our support staff is trained not only in best practices for children with special needs, but also in building a culture of kindness and teamwork. Here, your child will not only receive the specialized attention they require but also discover the joy of belonging and connection.

    Children's Services

    Easterseal RGV provides home visiting programs throughout Starr, Hidalgo, Cameron and Willacy Counties, that support families from pregnancy until the time their child enters kindergarten. Families are connected to a program that best fits their needs and are provided tools and resources for enhancing their child's development while creating an optimal learning environment, supporting their child's success in school and their life path.

  • Individualized Support

    Tailored plans and strategies that recognize and address each child's unique interests, strengths, and needs to ensure their full participation and development alongside peers with and without disabilities.

    Social Support

    Community resources and supports to families to help in parent education and child development. Services for families include short-term counseling, parent-centered events, developmental screenings, parents workshops and basic needs. The Starr Co. FRC is located on the South Texas College campus in Rio Grande City.
