Summer Fun at Easterseals Camps

Easterseals is proud to offer various camping and recreational programs for children and adults with disabilities. The programs vary from residential and day camps to weekend respites, and community-based programs. Our programs offer opportunities for individuals with disabilities to play and have fun while working on goals that can improve quality of life such as socialization, fine and gross motor skills, attention to tasks, and more.

What Do You Know About Disability Pride Month?

Disability Pride Month honors the history, achievements, and contributions of people with disabilities. It encourages us to challenge stereotypes and misconceptions, promoting a society that values human diversity and inclusion. By emphasizing that disability is a natural part of the human experience, Disability Pride Month helps combat stigma and promotes the understanding that everyone deserves respect and equal opportunities. Please consideration joining our efforts to support those with disabilities.

A Can't Miss - Club Lily

Any time is a great time to talk about one of our camp programs – Club Lily. Easterseals Western and Central PA’s Club Lily program is a camp opportunity specifically for adults, 18 and up, with any disability/special need. And, when we say 18 and up, we mean it! Our oldest camper in 2018 was 77; proving that you are never too old to enjoy the fun of camp. How can you not have fun when there is wall climbing, zip lining, boating, fishing, arts and crafts, games, sports, pool time, campfires, special evening activities and more.
